Columnist Jonah Goldberg Lectures Wednesday

The Wabash Conservative Union will Jonah Goldberg, editor-at-large of National Review Online, on Wednesday March 12th at 7:00 p.m. in Hays 104. Goldberg will lecture on his new book, Liberal Fascism. The event is open to the community and will be followed by a light reception.

Immersion, Mission Trips are Life Changing
Over 150 Wabash students who traveled the world over Spring Break have returned to campus. Some traveled with class Immersion Learning trips, others did student-driven missionary work in Botswana and New Orleans, and some "spread the fame of her honored name" singing in San Francisco and hitting baseballs in Texas.    more...

USS Indianapolis Survivors Here Tonight

USS Indianapolis survivors Mike Kruyla, Edgar Harrell, Jim O’Donnell, and Earl Henry Jr., the son of a survivor, will visit the Wabash campus tonight for a 7 p.m. presentation sponsored by the Experience Indiana program. The event will be held in the Wabash College Chapel.

Wabash Alumni Host Students At Eli Lilly

Eli Lilly, the giant pharmaceutical company, has a long history of association with Wabash College. Currently, there are 66 Wabash alumni employed throughout Lilly. If the 14 students who visited Lilly on Friday, February 29, 2008 have any say in the matter, that number will rise soon!

Spring Break Means Immersion Learning

"We walked down to Casa de las Americas, where we saw a fascinating art exhibit by Brazilian artist Miguel Rio Blanco," said Ivan Acebo-Choy in his blog posting from Madrid. "He insists on showing the face of marginal Brazil. Through photographs, installations and a short film, Rio Blanco disturbs, evokes, provokes and confronts his audience with bodies that bespeak of poverty, forgetfulness and marginalization."

Time to Vote for Alumni Representation!
The Board of Directors of the National Association of Wabash Men encourages Wabash alumni to vote in elections for Alumni Trustee on the Board of Trustees and for the Board of Directors for the NAWM. Ballots containing biographies of the nine candidates have been mailed to all alumni, and elections close April 22.    more...

CANTON, Ohio – Wabash swimmers would have made a Rhodes Scholar proud here Saturday night. They certainly had their coach beaming. The Little Giants claimed third place in the NCAC Swimming and Diving Championships with 1,066 points.    more...
