Students Present Business Plans to Expert Panel

Students in the College’s Summer Business Immersion Program wrapped up eight weeks of work Thursday with presentations of their final business plans to a panel of entrepreneurial and marketing experts.

Galapagos Provides Life Lessons

The students from a Wabash biology class studying evolution have returned from an intense month of study in the Amazon Rain Forest and the Galapagos Islands. The immersion, part of the Wabash Ecuadorian Studies Program, polished the students' Spanish language skills, while training their eyes in keen observation of the environment and their minds in recording their experiences in journals.

Incoming Freshman Helps Rescue Lafayette Woman

Brandan Alford, a member of the Wabash Class of 2012, joined his Lafayette American Legion baseball teammates in rescuing a women trapped under a minivan Saturday afternoon. Alford, Emilio Domondon, Andrew West, and Kory Banes lifted the vehicle off 72-year-old Helen Williams, who was trapped under a tire.

Wabash Students Help in Flood Cleanup

Helping a Hoosier neighbor is living humanely on the most basic level. More than 25 Wabash men, staff and a faculty member traveled Tuesday to the hard-hit Martinsville area. The men helped a neighborhood that was submerged in nearly three feet of flood water a week ago clean up the mess.
