Wabash College senior football players Darryl Kennon and Tony Neymeiyer have been named to the 2008 D3football.com All-America Team. Kennon was placed on the Second Team, while Neymeiyer received Honorable Mention All-America honors.

Good to Go Xpresso Makes Donation

Sharon and Kurt Conklin opened their Good to Go Xpresso coffee shops Good with an interesting business model. The shops operate as drive-through kiosks, and provide customers everything from rich espresso to frozen fruit smoothies. The Conklins’ business model includes a healthy dose of philanthropy, too.

Wabash, Co-Motion Help Family Crisis Shelter

Four members of the Wabash Sphinx Club tried to improve the holidays for the women and children living in the Montgomery County Family Crisis Shelter. As part of its annual Co-Motion fund-raising drive, the Club presented checks totaling nearly $1,200 to the shelter, which houses victims of domestic violence.

Haidari Returns to Wabash, Rebuilds Afghanistan

Ashraf Haidari returned to Crawfordsville Tuesday to visit his host family and to spend time catching up with faculty and staff. He is the Counselor for Political, Security, and Developmental Affairs at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Washington, but spends more time traveling making the case for support of his native country.
