Pillowman: Intense Theater at its Best

Wabash College Theater will present the Tony Award-winning dark comedy The Pillowman at 8:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights. Director Michael Abbott and scene designer James Gross have created a perfect environment and a veteran cast stars in the macabre drama in the Experimental Theater in the Fine Arts Center.

Holocaust Survivor/Artist Asks Tough Questions

"One of the great painters of the century," holocaust survivor and artist Samuel Bak will visit Wabash Monday, March 2 to open a five-week-long exhibit of his work entitled "The Art of the Question: The Paintings of Samuel Bak."

Bennett's Hypermnestra: A Triumph!

Collaborating with the Early Music Institute of the Indiana University of Jacobs School of Music, Wabash College hosted the first performance of Ignaz Holzbauer's German opera "Hypermnestra" in over 250 years. See pictures from the performance and rehearsal here and here. Wabash Music Professor Lawrence Bennett discovered the opera in a library in Germany and edited it for performance.

Theater production of McDonagh’s The Pillowman to be Performed

The Wabash College Theater Department will present its third theater production of the season, The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh, on February 25-28. The performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. each evening in the Experimental Theater in the Fine Arts Center.

Phishing Attacks on the Rise at Wabash

Wabash may not have as large a customer base as financial institutions and large web sites such as Amazon and eBay, but that doesn't stop predators from using the College's name in phishing attacks. Wabash IT Services warns the community to beware of phishing schemes.

A cool dip meant cold cash for charity when six members of the Wabash chapter of Beta Theta Pi braved very cold weather last weekend to participate in the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics of Indiana.

Board of Trustees - February 2009 Newsletter
The Wabash College Board of Trustees held its winter meeting on campus January 300-31. Trustees attended the annual Celebration of Student Research and joined more than 100 Wabash students for dinner on Friday for lively discussion.    more...

Brent Graber Remembered

Brent Graber ’01 died Monday from injuries sustained in an accident in January in Boulder, Colorado. A four-year football letterman, Graber became an avid skier and mountain biker. He also maintained his love of the classroom, earning a master's degree in May.

War Council Talk Mixes Alcohol and Sex

Sex and the College was the title of Wabash College’s W.A.R. (Wabash Acts Responsibly) Council discussion Tuesday night. The council’s “Six-Pack Talk” focused on the effects of alcohol on virtually every aspect of sex.
