Let the Stories Begin

Professor and Dean Emeritus Vic Powell H’55 got the 2009 Big Bash off to an early start Thursday as he sat with Archivist Beth Swift as the first guest of this year's Scarlet Yarns, the College's project to record on digital video the stories of Wabash alumni from their days at the College. The Big Bash officially begins today.

Big Bash Reunion Weekend in Full Swing

Wabash College staff are hosting what might be the biggest Big Bash ever. More than 350 alumni have started arriving on campus. The 50-year class will have the biggest turnout in Bash history for a Golden Reunion with more than half their class attending.

Einterz ’77 Shares Life Lessons at Last Lecture

Dr. Bob Einterz ’77 was invited to help commemorate the 40th anniversary of the founding of IUPUI when giving the prestigious "Last Lecture," one of the university's most honored invited lectures. In his talk, he shared the lessons he's learned in a lifetime devoted to battling HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Big Bash registration has now closed.  The Bash will be held from June 5 to June 7, 2009.  Over 300 alumni have registered to attend led by the Classes of 1959 and 1969.

Aouad's Hard Work Leads to Spot at Nationals

Commencement/Baccalaureate DVDs Now Available

The Wabash Media Center has completed production of the DVD for the 171st Commencement Ceremony at Wabash College. The commemorative disc includes the Baccalaureate Service and the entire Commencement Ceremony. Cost of the DVD is just $9.95 and they are available at the bookstore.

Dr. David Wilson '61 has been named Dean of the University of Kansas School of Medicine at Wichita. Wilson had been Dean and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of North Dakota.
