Bell on the Line for 75th Time Saturday

The Wabash football team, coming off its historic 1,000th all-time game, will write another chapter in the College’s history book this Saturday when the DePauw Tigers come to town for the 113th Monon Bell Classic. The Little Giants and Tigers will battle for the Monon Bell for the 75th time. Kickoff is slated for 1:06 p.m.

The Wabash College Admissions Office expects more than 150 prospective students plus another 200 family members for next week's Top 10 Visit Day. Football Team Plays Its Way Into History

The 75 men who boarded two charter buses bound for Granville, Ohio Friday are driving into Wabash College football history. They will continue a Wabash tradition that began in the fall of 1884 when Wabash played and won the first intercollegiate football game in the state of Indiana.

Record-Setting Distance Runner O'Drobinak ’86 Dies of Cancer

David O'Drobinak ’86, one of the finest middle distance runners ever to compete at Wabash — and a brilliant student — died this week of a rare B-cell lymphoma, also known as Burkitt lymphoma. O'Drobinak, who was on the faculty at Valdosta State University in Georgia, earned his Ph.D. in biology. His special research interest was in the area of muscle physiology.
