Hoerl One of Two New Professors

Assistant Professor of Political Science Alexandra Hoerl did not always want to be a professor. Instead, she wanted to be one of the nation’s top tax attorneys, but her family’s strong teaching tradition won out. Hoerl is now the newest tenure track professor in the Political Science department.

Dessert Wraps Up Freshman Orientation

Wabash freshmen are getting their first experience in the classroom today. Five days of orientation wrapped up Wednesday night at Elston Homestead with President Patrick White and his wife Chris hosting the Class of 2013 for ice cream.

War Council Hopes Gatorade Sends Message

Wabash's WAR Council handed out six packs of Gatorade after a freshman career services orientation Tuesday night. They're hoping it's a welcoming gesture to freshmen and a symbolic one about making wise decisions.

Familiar Players Return on Offense for 2009 Little Giants

Five All-North Coast Athletic Conference players return on the offensive side of the football for Wabash from last year, including NCAC Offensive Player of the Year Matt Hudson. The Little Giants will have some fresh faces up front on defense as they prepare for the 2009 campaign and a shot at their fifth consecutive league title.

Freshmen Learn Power of Service

Just 48 hours after having been "rung in" to the Class of 2013, Wabash's newest students were hard at work... in the community. All 250 freshmen were dispatched across Montgomery County to perform community service projects that help them realize important aspects of Wabash's mission.

The Class of 2013 is arriving on campus today and moving into their living units. Winston Craft, Attica, IN, was one of many settling in to their new living quarters. President Patrick White will "ring in" the class this afternoon.

The 250 members of the Wabash College Class of 2013 began their Saturday as boys. Those boys are now officially Wabash men – members of a select group of individuals – the band of brothers.

Bachelor editors and staff writers have returned to campus and are preparing the fourth-annual Back-to-Campus edition. Editor Gary James '10 and his staff have been interviewing and writing all week. The special issue will be distributed on campus the first day of classes, August 27.
