Fine arts play an important role in educating the “whole man” for living and learning at Wabash. The departments of Art, Music, and Theater not only offer programs of study, but also bring to campus artists and productions from around the world, expanding the appreciation for visual and performing art among students and the community. During the school year, the number of events in the Fine Arts Calendar demonstrates the vibrancy of artistic life on campus.

Student involvement in the arts is only limited by the unique interests of the individual. In all departments, student creation, design, and exploration are emphasized. Student involvement outside the classroom includes participation in art exhibitions, music solo-performance and ensembles (Jazz, Orchestra, World Music, Glee Club), and theatrical acting, directing and playwriting.

Theater
The 370-seat proscenium stage (Ball Theater) is the centerpiece of the theater facilities, and benefits from computerized lighting and sophisticated sound equipment. The Experimental Theater provides smaller, more flexible staging and seating.
