The program provides many opportunities to be involved in outreach in the community through the early field experience and student teaching components of the courses:

Education 101 - K-12 observations and Service Learning community experiences

Education 201 - Working with Special Education students

Education 302 - Working and teaching in a local high school and in an urban high school

Education 400 - Team teaching a literacy unit in the local schools

World History/Teacher Education Workshop - April/June 2006.
