The first building on the right as you enter the College mall is FOREST HALL. In Forest Hall, we step back in time to 1833, just one year after the founding of the College. It was in Forest Hall that the first Wabash class was held on December 3, 1833. Over the years it has housed classrooms, dormitory rooms, a snack shop, faculty offices, the admissions center, and, until recently, the Alumni Office. Forest Hall is currently the home of the Teacher Education department. In front of Forest Hall is the Alumni Terrace.

Faculty offices, the Education Student Workroom, and all the program files are now housed in Forest Hall. The Teacher Education Committee meets in the meeting room two times a month when classes are in session. Student workers help man the reception desk and keep the building open for education students from 7:00-10:00 pm SMTWTh.
