If you graduate from Greencastle High School near the top of your class, you're always thinking about going to DePauw. So I did that whole rigmarole over there, then I came here. I went to a couple of houses, took a tour of campus, and just basically fell in love with the place. It was small with a lot of personal one-on-one with your professor that I really liked."

Residence Life - "I'm amazed how much President Ford and the Deans were willing to help us get our fraternity house building project off the ground. You certainly don?t see that relationship at the bigger schools. It's refreshing to see that the administration wants to make this College as good as possible, and it realizes that one way to do that is by making the fraternities stronger." Liberal Arts - "You go to a bigger school, and you're concentrated in your field. You're concentrated in your field here, too, but you're required to take Cultures & Traditions and sciences and stuff, so you come out of here with a much broader array of knowledge. As far as problem solving. If you're a scientist, you're going to encounter problems that might relate to social science and that might relate to econ and the business side, so in that sense you're better equipped to handle on-the-job problems."
