The department has encouraged many students to travel in Italy and Greece in the summer, as well as part of a junior term/year abroad experience. Foreign study and travel are also facilitated by Wabash's membership in the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome and the American School of Classical Studies in Athens. Students have also participated in the Beaver College Program in Athens, and the Trinity College Program in Rome.
