Wabash senior baseball pitcher Jon Horne (Cincinnati, OH/St. Xavier) was joined by teammates Jared Bogan (JR/Struthers, OH/Struthers), Billy King (SO/Peoria, AZ/Peoria -- Glendale CC), Bill Goff (SR/Brownsburg, IN/Brownsburg), and Danny Schubert (SR/Lebanon, IL/Lebanon) on the 2005 All-North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Team. Horne and Bogan garnered First Team honors, while King was a Second Team All-NCAC selection. Goff and Schubert were both named to the Honorable Mention All-NCAC team.

Horne was second in the conference in ERA, posting a 2.01 in 49-1/3 innings of work with a 2-4 record. He was eight in the NCAC in strikeouts with 40, avergaging 7.30 punchouts a contest. Horne also tied for sixth in the league in complete games, finishing four of his seven starts. Opponents hit .266 against him this year, the tenth-lowest average in the conference. Horne recorded 11 wins and 173 strikeouts in four seasons as a starter for the Little Giants. He was a member of the Honorable Mention All-NCAC team in 2002.

Bogan started all 36 games for the Little Giants at first base, hitting .371 in 124 at-bats. He hit eight doubles, three triples, and six home runs for a .629 slugging percentage, leading the team. Bogan finished the season with a team-best 35 RBIs.

King led the NCAC in triples, smashing five three-base hits to tie him for second on the Wabash single season list, one away from Jay Dee Flynn's record of six in 1999. He hit .409 while starting 35 games in centerfield for Wabash, leading Wabash while finishing seventh in the NCAC in batting average. His 54 hits were the second-highest total for a Wabash player in a season, trailing only Zak Judd's 56 in 1997. King led Wabash in runs scored with 28, total bases (79), and stolen bases (nine).

Goff was 3-4 as a starting pitcher for the Little Giants this season, finishing with an ERA of 3.92. He was ninth in the league in opponents' batting average, holding them to a .262 average. He was seventh among NCAC pitchers in strikeouts with 41 for an average of 9.46 per game. Goff was 11-13 in four seasons on the mound for Wabash, finishing his career with 138 strikeouts. He was a member of the 2003 and 2004 Honorable Mention All-NCAC teams, as well.

Schubert played in 25 games for the Little Giants this season, starting 23 at shortstop after traveling to Prague for a week during spring break as part of the Wabash immersion learning program. He returned from Europe to hit .433 for the season with 29 hits in 67 at-bats, falling just short of enough trips to the plate to qualify for the team batting title. Schubert finished the season with 16 RBIs, four doubles, and a triple. He was third on the team in sacrifice hits with three. He hit .332 for his career, finishing with 65 RBIs, 20 doubles, a triple, and a home run. He holds the Wabash record for assists in a season with 110 in 2003. He was a member of the 2003 Honorable Mention All-Conference team.
